Yes sir, I would volunteer! To be honest, I would put myself in the bottom quartile of Cake skillfullness, but I reckon I still know enough to spot abuse and give a timely "thumbs up" to a well-written article.
I would propose a simple posting to this group would produce many excellent candidates for such a job and I believe the Cake team would have no problem choosing the best. Put us to the test -- collectively we could have decent Bakery articles approved in hours not weeks!
