So did you update the tutorial? :) When I originally wrote that tutorial I didn't have the time to investigate it further. And I felt it out of scope of a basic tutorial to go around hacking core behaviors. So I left it out, but made the reader aware of the issue. I assume there is a fairly simple solution involving afterSave() your user model. Which ticket provided a solution?
