So, did it fix it? It just seems like a typo somewhere. Point being, if you mistype model names and/or methods, Cake makes them up as it goes along (automagic guesswork). An inexistent method name will be attempted to be interpreted as an SQL call (e.g. - >findByUserName(), even though you don't have a method of that name).
