I've been using Eclipse for a while too now, either bundled with PDT (lots of features, but CPU intensive) or with the PHPEclipse add-on (lightweight PHP plugin with much of the features you'll want). Since so many distributions and mods based on Eclipse are on the market now (like Aptana and FlexBuilder for instance), I think it's worth the learning curve. It's getting more intuitive and user-centered with every version anyway.
Also, with the SubClipse add-on, Subversion integration is tighter than a chicken's rear. Which is good.
