Thanks Tyler for the suggestion, I had disabled view caching for the present time, will give it a try when I get some time.
Strange that it worked under the 1.2 beta, well I'm assuming it worked. The other option ad7six suggested in another thread was to either use ajax to load the form on request or link to a non-cached page with a form.
