So I got my first mac, and I installed MAMP on it and checked to make sure mod_rewrite is enabled, just as I used to on my windows machines. When I load the cake page everything loads properly, except for the graphics and css styles, which indicates a problem with mod_rewrite, but I cannot figure what the problem is.
