Hi everybody,
I was playing around with the blog tutorial on cakephp, and I decided
to make a modification in the section "Delete posts", in order to use
ajax request to delete a certain post.
I created an $ajax->link(), inside the view that displays all the
posts, to make the request as follows:
$ajax->link('Delete post', array('controller' => 'posts', 'action' =>
'delete', $id), array('update' => 'main'),'Are you sure you want to
delete the post?');
The request works, (ie the post is deleted), but the problem is that
cakephp says "missing view delete", but all I want is to display the
list view, that shows the update posts list.
I thought that I had to explicitly render this view, so I did inside
the delete method in Posts controller, but without any luck.
I believe to be a very simple mechanism, but I just cannot figure it
out..
Any ideas?
Thanks for your time in advance
Cris
