I also have a VPS with liquidweb and run numerous cakephp apps. I
haven't had any of the issues you have described. I'm not going to be
incredibly helpful, as I am not sure what you issue is, but my guess
would be the location of the app, or a cookie naming issue?..dunno.
sorry. Just wanted to let you know that I have a similar hosting
situation without any issues.
