I'm like, "Whaaa?!? There's a salt in debugger.php?" Sure enough, it's in there so that Cake can compare the strings in order to nag you if it hasn't been changed. If you change them both, it'll keep nagging you because they're the same--albeit different than the original--string.
Aku--honestly, I'm laughing WITH you here. ;-) Yes, just change the one in core.php. Although, it really doesn't matter. Just make sure the 2 files have different strings.
