I am new and I know this is a laughable question so I am prepared for the laugher but here goes.
If you are using Jquery rather than the Protoype and Scriptauculous, is the $ajax->xxx useless? Can you use the ajax helper at all? If not what do you do when you want to use ajax. Example $ajax->form becomes what if you are using jQuery?
