Would something like this work for cleaning data?
function beforeSave() {
App::import('Sanitize');
Sanitize::paranoid($this->data);
}
and then in the controller
if ($this->User->save($this->data)) {
$this->beforeSave();
}
trying to figure out a way to clean the data easier rather than adding to
the cotroller
$this->params['form']['value'] =
Sanitize::clean($this->params['form']['value'], array(' '));
