I have a series of apps that I'm looking to rethink and redesign from the ground up. Currently the databases are split based on application which helps me choose which ones to backup at different intervals.
I'd like redesign and keep scalability and speed in mind. What can I do with CakePHP to query across the multiple databases or share data between Cakes? Does anyone have any good tips or links to tips that can help me drive my design decisions? The total combined rows of the apps is around 700k rows and gets about 5million SQL queries a day for 400k requests with my current design and I'm serving it on a shared hosting service (obviously getting to the point where I should be considering other hosting options). --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CakePHP" group.
