hello,

this is currently what I am using:

$companies = $this->Task->Company->Status->find('all',
array('conditions'=>array('Status.name !='=>'Completed')));
                $this->set(compact('companies'));

i am simply trying to display all listings with "Status.name" not equal to
"Completed".

this is working fine in my tasks_controller view.. but when I attempt to run
it in my companies_controller view.ctp, i get the following error:

Notice (8): Undefined property: CompaniesController::$Task
[APP\controllers\companies_controller.php, line 29]

Notice (8): Trying to get property of non-object
[APP\controllers\companies_controller.php, line 29]

anyone know what i am doing wrong here?

the tables are all associated and working fine otherwise..
