Hello All, I would love some feedback in the following design:
Model Customers hasMany Telephones Model Suppliers hasMany Telephones Table telephones alternative (a): customer_id, supplier_id, phone# Table telephones alternative (b): foreign_key, phone# Given that all my keys are UIDS, AFAIK cake makes them unique along the whole database. So having a single model sharing association with two other models should work ok (i.e. there is no chance a customer will "get" the telephone that belongs to a supplier with same ID). What do you guys have to say about that approach instead of splitting "telephones" in two other models (customer_telephones and supplier_telephones) ? Thank you. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CakePHP" group.
