Try this:
Array
(
[Channel]=>Array(
[id] => 16
)
[Area]=>Array(
[Area]=>Array(
[0] => 14
)
)
That format is the automagic way for cake to save habtm.
Can't remember where I saw it documented but my memory is that the
manual is not clear on this.
