Jules, In order to force a specific redirect after login you'll need to specify that redirect in the login action of your users controller. By default the Auth component uses its own login action, and thus you can't override the redirect behavior after a successful login. To force your own redirect, make sure to set autoRedirect to "false" and then use $this->redirect in your login action.
