I've enabled Auth for my controllers and protected various actions for my application, however http://mysite.com/ immediately goes to the login screen. In app_controller, beforefilter function, I've added $this->Auth->allow('index'); line but it is still prompting for login. How can I enable public access to the initial page of my site?
