I have a bookmark star icon, click on it saves a bookmark for a post. If i click 5 or 6 stars to save the post the star gets filled. If I click on a post then click back in the browser all the filled stars are now empty, I have to hit refresh to show the filled stars. If you go to http://toronto.kijiji.ca/f-buy-and-sell-business-industrial-W0QQCatIdZ145 they have the same idea I am working on (their works) What am i doing wrong? How can the page not get cached? Most of my site (say 95%) is all user interactive and almost none of the info should be cached since every action the user does almost always changes the page in someway and having to hit refresh to reload the page is not an option since that's not how it should work. How do i make sure that the browser does not cache elements, pages. I have the cache no cache blocks in view, cache helper in app_controller, var cacheAction = false. tried everything but nothing seems to work. Even on my login in screen. I have a login element with array('cache' => false), user logs in and directs them to their profile page and the header still shows login. Completely different page, only if i hit refresh does it now show the correct welcome user name | Logout link. Any help would be great with not caching. Thanks Dave
