paginate expects options to be passed as named parameters, so whichever option you decide to go with you need to be passing somehting like the following back to the controller
www.website.com/controller/action/limit:10 other options can be www.website.com/controller/action/limit:10/sort:created/direction:asc I am currently working with index views which have drop downs at the top of my results and a javascript observer watching for any changes in those dropdowns which sends a new GET request with the correct parameters, much like Ebay allows users to reorder their listings.
