Apologies for posting 2 questions very close together!

In an app I am building, the client has requested that I integrate a
Bulletin Board into the system. I can't find much recent stuff on the
web about integrating a bb with a cake app, so I wondered whether
anyone has done this. One article I did find talked about disabling
cake's session handler, which I don't think I want to do, because the
app session stuff wouldn't work then, would it?

Basically, I want the user to be able to log in to the app and from
there to be able to access the bulletin board. Preferably they should
not have to log in again. I don't particularly mind if it looks
different, although it would be handy if the bb could be made to look
reasonably similar to the app. It would also be nice if the bb could
still have the app menu down the side, but again that's not essential.

I'd appreciate any tips anyone can give me.

Thanks!
