It;s likely that what jeremy says is right, and if this is the case
you can either
a) Rename a field in your db table to name
b) Specify the displayField attribute in your model to use a different
field for find('list')
c) Add a fields array to your find('list',
array('fields'=>array('Model.id', 'Model.custom_name_field')));
