Hello everyone, I have a CakePHP application that was developed several years ago, using Cake 1.1. I haven't worked on the app in quite a while (though it was still being used), so I have never gone through the process of upgrading to the newer versions of Cake. I'm now working on the app again, and I'd really like to bring it up to Cake 1.3.
However, it seems that this will require going through the code and changing a ton of methods/helpers/forms by hand. Is that correct, or is there any easier way of migrating to the newer versions? I've looked at the Book appendices on migration steps, and understand how to follow them. However, before I started the rather lengthy task of updating all my code by hand, I wanted to make sure there was no easier/quicker way.
