Hi,

Yes, I have a DB installed and by 'working fine from terminal' you actually
mean connecting successfully to the database server with a client or testing
successfully the connection in a separate script, yes, it's working fine.
The PHP database driver is installed on the system.
As a temporary resort I installed a chroot with lenny - it uses the same
database, same libs are installed and all is ok.

I'm working on a very important project for my company (as we all do :) )
and I do hope that it's my fault and it's a problem with my setup, otherwise
it looks pretty bad.
Did any of you had successfully run CakePHP on PHP 5.3.3?

Thank you very much for your help,
Adrian
