Hi,

I want to create a form in my view, in order to select a product in my
model.
However, I don't want to link this form to my "product" model, because
for example I want my users to select a price range from a dropdownbox
(10 - 20 €, 20 - 30€...), and I can't link the dropdownbox to price,
since price is just 1 number.

So is there a way I can create a form which is not connected to a
model, so that I can query the model myself in my controller the way I
want to?
And how can I read my form data?

For example, if I have

echo $this->Form->input('test');

in my view, how do I access the value of this test?

Thanks a lot for your help !!
