Hi everybody I'm working with an existing app which uses the Auth and Acl components. But because the default Acl component is much too complex for the needs of the application I want to get rid of it and only use the Auth component with my own small implementation of Acl.
Sadly when removing Acl from the system, Auth still seems to complain about missing Acl stuff: Warning (8): Undefined property: AuthComponent::$Acl [CORE/cake/libs/ controller/components/auth.php, line 537] AuthComponent::isAuthorized() - CORE/cake/libs/controller/components/ auth.php, line 537 AuthComponent::startup() - CORE/cake/libs/controller/components/ auth.php, line 445 Component::triggerCallback() - CORE/cake/libs/controller/ component.php, line 186 Controller::startupProcess() - CORE/cake/libs/controller/ controller.php, line 527 Dispatcher::_invoke() - CORE/cake/dispatcher.php, line 187 Dispatcher::dispatch() - CORE/cake/dispatcher.php, line 171 [main] - APP/webroot/index.php, line 83 Fatal error: Call to a member function check() on a non-object in / Users/josh/Sites/ziviapps/cake/libs/controller/components/auth.php on line 537 So I wonder whether Auth only works in combination with Acl?
