Thanks for that.
I've now added in $form->end, but it hasn't helped.
I didn't know about $this->Form - I'll read up on it for future sites.
In AppController I have:
<?php
class AppController extends Controller
{
var $uses = array();
var $helpers = array('Html', 'Form', 'Javascript', 'Paginator',
'Session');
var $components = array('Auth', 'Session');
function beforeFilter() {
Security::setHash('md5');
$this->Auth->loginAction = array('controller' => 'users',
'action'
=> 'login');
$this->Auth->loginRedirect = array('controller' => 'users',
'action' => 'loginAfter');
$this->Auth->loginError = 'No email and password was found with
that
combination.';
$this->Auth->authError = "Please log in to view this
page.";
$this->Auth->logoutRedirect = '/';
}
}?>
