You need to adjust the way you update in controller
function admin_points()
{
if($this->data)
{
$this->FocikiUser->id = 'id which you want to update';
$this-> FocikiUser->setField('featured_video_points
',$this->data['User']['featured_video_points']);
}
$result=$this->FeaturedVideoPoint->find('list',array('fields'=>array(
featured_video_points'')));
$this->set('points', $result);
}
