In my MySQL database, I have a table foo that has a field bar_id that is
defined as allowing NULL.
CakePHP 1.3.6 baked some nice views for me, including foo/edit.ctp which
contains "echo $this->Form->input('bar_id');" but the select menu this produces
does not give me the option of not selecting something, which I want to be able
to do.
I found an issue reported years ago about something like this which does not
appear to be resolved:

That's about scaffolding, but I seem to be having the same problem with baked
views.
What should I do to allow NULL selections for some of my relationships?
