Hi. I am not sure, but why about:
echo $this->Paginator->sort('Name', 'Person.first_name');
(that is, without prefix "Attendance"; btw, the normal sintax for this
parameter is "Model.Field", not
"Model1.ModelRelated2.ModelRelated3....Field")
