Hi Miles I tried image/jpeg and gif.
Various images, not had the chance to test online rather than in EasyPHP. image/jpeg should pass no? Anyhow, on a slightly different note, I really love the simplicity of your component - besides the strange error (still convinced it's EasyPHP), it's working perfectly.
