One simple way is just to have a generic "dashboard" action that chooses
what to display based on user role. You'll want to make sure to manually
call $this->render() in your _dashboard actions.
function dashboard(){
$this->autoRender = false;
if($this->Auth->user('role') == 'admin')
$this->_adminDashboard();
} else {
$this->_userDashboard();
}
}
