Well, I suppose one could do this for each virtual host:
/var/www/vhosts/some_host/
app/
config/
controllers/ <- symlink
libs/
locale/
models/ <- symlink
etc.
And have all controllers & models stored somewhere else.
I'm not sure that's really workable though.
