Wales Coffee Cake
Ingredients: 1 cup butter 1 cup coffee -- cold 3 teaspoons baking powder 2 teaspoons vanilla 1 cup walnuts -- chopped 2 cups sugar 2 2/3 cups flour 4 Eggs -- separated 1/4 teaspoon salt Cooking Directions: Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten egg yolks. Mix well and add cold coffee alternately with flour, baking powder and salt. Add nuts and vanilla, then fold in beaten egg whites. Bake 45 minutes at 375 degrees F.
