Orange Bits
1 orange flavored cake mix (you can use other flavors if you want) 1 egg 4 ounces whipped topping, thawed 1/2 cup confectioners sugar 1/2 cup white or milk chocolate chips Preheat oven to 350. In large bowl combine cake mix, egg and whipped topping. Batter will be very stiff. (Best to not use hand mixer) Add chips if using. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough into confectioners sugar and roll around coating all of dough. Place 2 inches apart on GREASED cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown on bottom. Cookies will be soft but not wet when done. Note: I tried this once with the Duncan Hines brand lemon cake mix and found them to be rather bitter and not in a good way.
