Hi, I'm new and already have my 1st question. I need someone to dig way
back (1950-1960s) and tell me what type of frosting was typically used
on spice cake. I have this memory of my mom making what I remember as
spice cake cupcakes with a tan frosting (carmel or maple)??? It could
have even been ready-made, not sure. I would deeply appretiate your
