Hello all.  

I'm new to this group and 
just wanted to make a 
contribution.  

I bake cakes for extra money
and I have a couple tricks
up my sleeve.  I use pudding
to flour my pans with, and I
add butter and almond extracts
to my cakes for more flavor.  

I use butter flavored crisco
for my buttercream icing and
everyone raves!!!

I have a catering/gourmet 
cooking degree and hope to 
one day get a degree for 
baking too when I find the 
time.  

I am married with two children, 
I work full time and go to 
school full time.  I'm really
enjoying the recipes.
