I am allergic to many things and one of those is cow's milk products.
I have used rice milk in place of milk and I've used water in place of
milk on some occasions. If you aren't allergic to soy you can use soy
milk, it has the closest consistency to milk than most alternatives.
You can also use coconut milk. I like this option. Coconut milk is so
thick and flavorful.
