DARK CHOCOLATE CAKE

1 c. hot strong coffee
(preferably gourmet type)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
1 c. milk
2 c. flour
3/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder

Blend coffee, vanilla, eggs, sugar, oil and milk well.
Sift into this flour, cocoa, baking soda, salt and baking
powder. Pour into pans for layered or tube. Bake 45 minutes
at 350 degrees for layered. Bake over 1 hour for tube. Check for
doneness. Use cream cheese icing or liquor flavored icing.
