Surprise cupcakes
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1/3 cup sugar
dash of salt
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
Prepare cake mix according to directions
on box. Fill cupcake papers 2/3 full. Cream
together cream cheese, sugar, salt and egg.
Stir in chocolate chips and drop rounded
teasponsful in each cupcake center. Bake
according to the cake mix directions for
cupcakes. Chill and leave plain or ice with
your favorite frosting.
