Black bottom cupcakes

1/8   tsp. salt
2     eggs
2     8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese
1 2/3 cups sugar
1     tsp. soda
1/4   cup cocoa
      finely chopped pecans
1     tsp. vanilla
1     tbsp. vinegar
1/3   cup cooking oil
1     cup water
1     6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups flour

     Combine salt, eggs, cream cheese and 2/3
 cup sugar in mixing bowl and beat until
 creamy and smooth.  Set aside.  Combine soda,
 cocoa, flour, vanilla, vinegar, oil, water and
 remaining cup sugar.  Mix until well blended. 
 Stir in chocolate chips.  Line muffin pans with
 paper cups and fill 1/3 full with chocolate
 mixture.  Add heaping spoonful of cream
 cheese mixture.  Sprinkle with pecans.  Bake
 in 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes or until
 done.
