Dear friends of cake,
I just noticed that “tc qdisc add root cake help” gives, besides others, gives:
[ ptm | atm | noatm* ] [ overhead N | conservative | raw* ]
I believe with the new “overloaded" meaning of raw this is not really true
anymore. I would humbly like to propose a new dedicated keyword pair to toggle
the automatic kernel overhead de-accounting method explicitly. Alternatively
could anybody explain why this is the sensible thing to do?
