Got this to work, thanks very much!

Instead of creating a new partition for the data store, I just created a directory in /usr/local, and changed my fstab file to read as follows:

/dev/sda6        /usr    ext3    defaults,user_xattr             0 1

Otherwise, these instructions work perfectly!


Now to look into getting it to work over SSL and with Active Directory.
