[CalendarServer-users] DropBox Notifications Removed

I did a quick look at the Trac changes to see what's happening in SVN  
and noticed something odd:
 * Why in the world was the DropBox notifications feature removed  
just-because?
        http://trac.calendarserver.org/changeset/2393
Doesn't that decrease the capabilities to iCal clients?
