He's probably helped out more people than he lets on, because he's not the kind of person to do that sort of thing for the notoriety or publicity. He's just a great, big-hearted person. Right now, he needs everyone's help. To keep it simple, his brain is bleeding and he needs surgery to fix the issue or it's going to kill him. His surgeon needs $150K upfront before he will perform this lifesaving procedure. He actually bought in to the WISPA insurance when it became available, and long before he was diagnosed with this issue. Problem is, the insurance company determined that this was not covered under the policy and now he needs to "Pay the full amount upfront or go home and die", as the hospital basically put it. So, as a member of WISPA and fellow WISP owner, I'm reaching out to all of our brothers and sisters and their families and friends to help save this great man's life. We will accept whatever you can give, but if you could at least donate a minimum of $100-$500 or more, this will dramatically speed up the process and get him in as quick as possible. Right now, he's a ticking time bomb and I'd hate to lose a great friend like Dave. He needs to have this procedure done ASAP, and obviously, the quicker the better.
