Shazron Abdullah commented on CB-504:
-------------------------------------
@jesse This is what I'm suggesting, in more words. Like I said (trust me on
this one) separating it out will cause more trouble than it's worth. Don't
forget now I have to include a version specific uninstaller, it's more work,
sure, but that's not what I'm primarily concerned about (eg add more release
checklist steps)
I'm thinking of all the cases how this will cause problems, and from
experience, a user will find an edge case that is not handled, guaranteed. Will
have to let it stew for a bit and get more ideas - at least get a fleshed out
design going.

> It is becoming somewhat difficult to keep up with the frequent releases of
> Cordova in our projects, especially when some breaking changes are possible.
> If it is possible for each release of Cordova to be installed with an
> identifier than it is easier to take a slow migration between releases.
