Becky Gibson commented on CB-1598: ---------------------------------- Can you try this in an edge version of cordova? There have been many fixes for changes to orientation in iOS 6. I couldn't reproduce your problem on an iPad 2 running iOS 6 nor in the iOS 6 iPad simulator with the edge version. I have an app that supports all but "portrait home button top". I run the app with the device in landscape. I call chooseContact() - it displays the contact list in landscape. I cancel out (either after selecting a contact or not) and the page I invoked chooseContact() from is still displayed in landscape. > iOS ABPeoplePicker breaks WebView orientation > --------------------------------------------- > > Key: CB-1598 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-1598 > Project: Apache Cordova > Issue Type: Bug > Components: iOS > Affects Versions: 2.1.0 > Environment: iPad 6.0 simulator > Reporter: Olivier Louvignes > Assignee: Shazron Abdullah > > When I use the peoplePicker with navigator.contacts.chooseContact when i'm > Using an iPad (maybe an iPhone too) in landscape mode. > The ADBContact List is properly displayed in landscape mode, however, as soon > as it disappear (either picker so or via cancel), the webview gets chunked in > portrait mode, check this screenshot : > https://dl.dropbox.com/u/2310128/Capture%20d%E2%80%99%C3%A9cran%202012-10-05%20%C3%A0%2022.42.40.png -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
