What a great program. Your dancers are lucky to have you. It's good to be reminded just how easy we have it here -- in some ways.
This is an interesting time in dance development, isn't it? Some of us are the lone voice crying in the wilderness, some of us are preaching to the (highly skilled, often demanding/opinionated) choir. Reminds me of my grandmother's stories of the late 40s: her home in NYC was surrounded by all of the miracles of modern technology, her family's farm community in western PA was still in the process of acquiring universal phone/power coverage -- and indoor plumbing was still not a given. Our dance communities seem similarly spread out along the evolutionary scale. Food for thought. Cheers, Amy
