Hi,

     I ran across gate in the triplet below. There the gate starts from
lines of 4 across the hall and ends in long lines. It dances nicely with
the ends acting as the pivots.

        # 1 step between # 3 and four in line down and back
A2:  # 1 around gateposts (e.g. gate 3/4, #3 are posts who turn) back to middle;
            Right hand star with top once
B1:  # 1 figure of 8 around bottom
(L first, M roll right into it, both go between #3 round opposite sex first)
B2:  Lines of 3 Forward and back;
Top two hand turns once while middle and bottom circle left half then 2 hand turn half

ends: 2,3,1
