i don't have plans to join this group, as this is one of the few aspects of the dance i haven't gotten sucked in to - at least so far! BUT i want to say i think it's great that you've started this new discussion. there are many people in the traditional music and dance community who are deriving great value from the various sharedweight lists. one of the things i love about "folk arts" is that they are dynamic (as are we folks). who would have had any thought ten years ago that this would be relevant to the contra community? thanks! barb
