Thanks, Bill, for the source and for Mac for the story!
Yes, gents back out while the ladies walk in. The note 'gents wait for them' is more about once gents have backed out, stay there and don't go walk forward to meet the ladies during their allemande. Sorry that was unclear. ________________________________________ From: [email protected] [[email protected]] on behalf of Don Veino [[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, March 21, 2013 5:38 PM To: Caller's discussion list Subject: Re: [Callers] What dance is this? (round 97) I don't understand the point of "Gents wait for them" in the note. Seems to me that just puts the guys in the way of the ladies' allemande. Instead I'd expect that gents back out while ladies go forward would make for better flow. _______________________________________________ Callers mailing list [email protected] http://www.sharedweight.net/mailman/listinfo/callers ________________________________ This e-mail message (including any attachments) is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information.
